Property Vault is an app for keeping track of your real estate and related finances. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected. The short version: your data stays on your device. We do not collect it, we do not see it, and we do not share or sell it.
Everything you enter in Property Vault — properties, agreements, payments, income records, comments, attached documents and photos — is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. This information is never transmitted to us or to any server we operate. We operate no servers and have no access to your data.
The app asks you to create a local profile (name/e-mail and password) to separate data between users of the same device. These credentials are stored only on your device. They are not sent anywhere and cannot be recovered by us. No online account is created.
If you enable fingerprint or face unlock, the check is performed entirely by your device's operating system. The app never sees, stores, or transmits your biometric data.
The app uses the camera or the system photo picker only when you choose to attach a photo or document to a property. Selected images are copied into the app's private storage on your device. The app does not scan your photo library and does not request media library permissions.
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. To validate purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier and purchase information (product, price, purchase state). It does not receive your name, e-mail, or any of the data you store in the app. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
To convert between currencies, the app requests current exchange rates from the public Frankfurter API. Only the currency codes you use (for example, EUR, USD) are included in the request — no personal data.
You can export your data as a backup file (JSON or ZIP) to a location you choose. Backup files are created only on your request and are under your control. Keep them safe: anyone with access to a backup file can read the data inside it. Passwords are not included in backups.
The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, device identifiers, or location data.
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual records inside the app at any time, or remove all app data by uninstalling the app (or via Android Settings → Apps → Property Vault → Clear data). Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on any server. Backup files you exported must be deleted by you from wherever you saved them.
Property Vault is a finance tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
